This film is a fictional love story set against the true story backdrop of the longest take-over of a Federal building in American history. For 28 days in April of 1977, over a hundred people with disabilities occupied the Health Education and Welfare offices in San Francisco forcing President Carter to enact the first disability nondiscrimination law, Section 504. In the process they found their voices, fell in love, and started a movement.
